Burning bus video unrelated to 2026 high school protests in France

Nationwide protests in France over classroom conditions have disrupted lessons at hundreds of schools, with some turning violent. But a widely shared video of a burning bus rolling down a road was not filmed during the demonstrations. The footage actually shows a 2023 bus fire caused by an engine issue in the southern French city of Nîmes.
