Footage of Iranian attack misrepresented as Houthi strikes on Saudi airport

After Yemen's Houthis attacked the Dammam airport in eastern Saudi Arabia in October 2026, a two-year-old video resurfaced in social media posts claiming it showed the rockets striking the site. The footage has circulated since October 2024, when Iranian missile attacks targeted military bases in Israel, and corresponds to Google Street View imagery near to an air base in southern Israel.
