Taiwan shares close lower but recover from lows amid U.S. midterms - Focus Taiwan

Shares in Taiwan closed lower Wednesday but recovered from the day's low as bargain hunters bought shares after prices fell, while investors assessed the U.S. midterm elections, in which Democrats were projected to gain control of Congress, dealers said.
