Stock trading accounts hit new peak in October amid Taiex surge - Focus Taiwan

The number of accounts created to trade on the local market hit a new high at the end of October, as the Taiex, the Taiwan Stock Exchange's (TWSE) benchmark index, remained up more than 55 percent for the year, according to data released Monday.
