Fabricated Angus Reid graphic circulates on Alberta referendum night

Albertans voted decisively against a future binding referendum on separating from Canada, but on election night, separatist partisans shared a fake graphic that appeared to show exit poll data from Canadian company Angus Reid projecting secession would win by a large margin. The polling firm never published any data corresponding to the image, and its president called out the graphic as a fabrication.
