MediaTek expects to hold 20% global share in ASIC used in AI accelerators in 2027 - Focus Taiwan

On the back of robust global demand for data center infrastructure during the current AI boom, MediaTek Inc., Taiwan's largest IC designer, expects that it will take up about 20 percent of the global market share in application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) used in AI accelerators.
