Taiwan raises drug-driving penalties, adds capital punishment - Focus Taiwan

Taiwan's Legislature passed amendments to the Criminal Code on Friday to increase penalties for drug-impaired driving, raising the maximum prison term from three to five years and allowing the death penalty for repeat offenders who cause death within 10 years.
