Unrelated visuals of couples falsely linked to Bangladeshis executed by Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia's execution of two Bangladeshi nationals in October over an alleged "indecent act" prompted social media posts falsely claiming to depict the man and woman sentenced to death. But a photo and video shared online, both showing couples announcing pregnancies, are unrelated to the executions. The photo shows an Egyptian influencer couple in 2024, while the video features a UK-based couple who told AFP they have "no connection" to the executed individuals.
