Saint Lucia Prime Minister Begins Fourth Official Visit to Taiwan

Saint Lucia Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre has arrived in Taiwan for his fourth official visit to the country. Pierre will stay through Saturday and is scheduled to meet with President Lai Ching-te to discuss cooperation in healthcare, high-tech development, climate resilience and economic sustainability. Saint Lucia, a Caribbean island nation, is one of Taiwan’s 12 diplomatic allies. The visit underscores the longstanding relationship between the two countries and highlights ongoing efforts to expand collaboration in key sectors as both sides seek to strengthen bilateral ties and support sustainable development.
