Clip of Pakistan lawmaker daring authorities to 'hang Imran Khan' is edited

After anti-government demonstrations in Pakistan seeking the release of jailed former leader Imran Khan gripped northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, posts circulated an altered video purportedly depicting his ally Shahid Khattak challenging authorities to hang Khan. However, a review of the original footage found Khattak issued no such remarks; he said people would not take it lightly if the government placed Khan's political stronghold under emergency rule.
