Old clips of youth protests in Nepal falsely linked to unrest in northern Pakistan

Supporters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province rallied in October 2026 demanding the release of former prime minister Imran Khan, but footage of protesters setting a building on fire circulating online was not filmed during the demonstration. It actually shows protesters setting Nepal's parliament building ablaze during protests from over a year ago.
