The International Criminal Court ousted Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan on Friday over sexual assault allegations, ICC officials said, thrusting the court into a new period of uncertainty as the institution faces a multifront attack by the Trump administration.

國際刑事法院官員表示，該院週五因性侵指控將首席檢察官卡林．汗撤職，把面臨（美國）川普政府多方攻擊的國際刑事法院推入新的不確定性。

Member nations of the ICC voted to remove Khan, 82 to 13 with 15 abstentions, officials familiar with the matter said, in a session at the United Nations headquarters in New York.

知情官員透露，在紐約聯合國總部的1場會議上，國際刑事法院成員國以82票對13票、15票棄權，表決解除卡林汗的職務。

The vote pitted the court’s Western powers and their allies, which opposed Khan, against a bloc of African states and other nations in the developing world.

該表決讓國際刑事法院成員國中反對卡林．汗的西方大國及其盟友，與非洲國家集團和其他開發中國家，形成競爭對立局面。

Khan has been on leave since May 2025, after The Wall Street Journal reported on the seriousness of the assault allegations he faced. He denies any sexual misconduct.

卡林．汗在華爾街日報報導他面臨的性侵指控的嚴重性後，自2025年5月起便一直休假。他否認有任何性不當行為。
