Taiwan chipmaker TSMC has reported its highest quarterly revenue on record, fueled by strong global demand linked to the AI boom. The company said third-quarter revenue rose 50 percent from a year earlier to more than US$46 billion, exceeding both its own forecasts and market expectations. Investors are now looking ahead to next week’s earnings call, where executives are expected to address key issues including the company’s global expansion plans.
