Video from 2019 misrepresented as demonstration against S. Korean president

Tens of thousands of protesters gathered in Seoul on October 3, 2026 to demand the ouster of South Korean President Lee Jae Myung, but a video circulating on social media that purportedly shows the demonstration is in fact seven years old. The footage shows a rally held in the same location calling for the resignation of then-justice minister Cho Kuk.
